The Wander Inn is my favorite home away from home. Tastefully appointed rooms, generous community gathering spaces like the cowboy pools, the fire pit and the living rooms stocked with vinyl, books, games and coffee…it’s just so easy to check in and enjoy yourself. Sometimes I like to go “photo hunting” around the property, other times, I journal or just take in one of the sunrises or sunsets from the rocking chairs on the patio. But all in all, it’s a little slice of heaven and I love it here!

This is one of the sweetest spots on earth. Magical, beautiful, comfortable, unique AND fun. Long horned cattle grazing out the back door, hot coffee, vintage records playing in the background and warm biscuits delivered to your door each morning. As if that wasn’t enough there’s also the wonderful Junk Gypsy store to wander around in and find the perfect treasure to take home. I will return again and again to experience this place and these people. Five stars would never be enough

My husband and I celebrated our 18th anniversary at the Wander Inn. We stayed in the Country delight room! I loved waking up to the quiet landscape and delicious biscuits.

The Wander Inn is a top notch inn! From an easy contactless check in to check out, every detail was well planned. The property is beautiful and watching the longhorns grazing was a treat. We stayed in The Crown building, The Rambler Room, and loved it. The huge porches with rocking chairs were great. The room wasnt crowded, was pleasingly decorated and the beds were comfy. The Junk Gypsy products are wonderful and I bought a couple of them. The common room was also cute, comfortable and well stocked. The biscuits, butter and jelly were delicious. Great touch! But we wanted another biscuit! Haha! Enjoyed our visit to the Junk Gypsy store too. We all bought something! Cute fun store! Cant wait to return to The Wander Inn and quaint Round Top again!

Angela, Brenda, Janet, from Calif. Traveling through to Alabama, on our journey we've been staying at eclectic places. This was by far the most relaxing, beautiful countryside, with thrilling, unique accommodations that were stunning, comfortable, creative and inspiring. The biscuits were the perfect touch as well as the record player in the room. We had an amazing stay which was accentuated by the lovely Sally who chatted with us for a few minutes before continuing with her day. We finished our stay at the amazing Junk Gypsies shop which was so much fun . Thank you for your attention to detail and gracious hospitality. We are anxious to plan a trip for the future to share with special friends and family.

We stayed in the Gypsy Farmhouse and it was perfectly decorated, including rich colors, metallics, with soft ruffles and one fabulous copper tub. Looked forward to the delicious morning biscuits. Local shops had so many different options and there was wonderful food. Visited the Junk Gypsy store for some terrific items. Definitely planning to stay longer next visit. Everyone had a wonderful time!

We stayed in Thelma’s garage and loved it! Had everything we needed. We took long soaks nightly in the duo claw foot tubs. Also liked that we had a full size frig/freezer combo and microwave, a dining table and chairs and two queen beds. The floor to ceiling wall art of shirtless Brad pit in a cowboy hat was so cute and also one of Thelma and Louise on the wall with the lounging sofa. The decor was Devine throughout. We sat by the outdoor fire pit in the evening and enjoyed the brisk air and the beautiful pastures before dark. We visited the Wander Inn’s gathering place and The Crown for ice before the trip home. It is very relaxing there and peaceful. The hot homemade biscuits with jelly and butter arrived daily, wrapped in a red bandana and placed in a tin bucket. So yummy! Will definitely recommend highly and will stay again. I could go on and on. Found a one of a kind necklace at Junk Gypsy’s Store and went home with 5 of their small wines for family and the cutest little pop belly bottomed coffee cups. Amazing!!!

This place was absolutely adorable! The rooms are cozy and the decorating is beautiful. We really enjoyed the game room right outside our door. The game room has a coffee maker with yummy coffee, a fireplace and lots of games. No worries, people aren't out there late keeping you awake! Everyone that works there are on top of everything. If you have any questions or need anything, they are right there! Be sure to say hello to Sandie, she is awesome!

We loved our stay in the Bandita Room. It was cozy and comfortable, and everywhere you turned there was an interesting and creative use of the space and vintage things. So very charming! It was quiet and peaceful, and had every amenity you could need. It was a lovely stay, the shop was amazing, and Round Top was fun with very welcoming folks.
